Our Story

What began as a humble food van at the New Norfolk Market has grown into a permanent café in the heart of Blair Street. Rachel, Lynn, and Stephen Smith first introduced locals to their Posh Pancakes back in 2021 after moving from New South Wales. From there, Street Food Gluten Free was born, a much-loved van serving delicious, gluten-free comfort food.

As demand grew, so did the dream. Today, Brewtique on Blair carries that same spirit of warm service and hearty food, but in a space where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy meals made fresh to order. What started as a roadside offering is now a community café — built on passion, family, and the joy of sharing good food.

At Brewtique on Blair, we believe gluten-free dining should never mean compromise. Every dish on our menu is crafted to taste just as good — if not better — than its traditional counterpart. From crispy fish and chips to wholesome breakfasts, handmade burgers, and indulgent desserts, our goal is simple: everyone can eat from the same menu and feel at home.

We listen closely to our customers, shaping our offerings around what the community loves and needs. With Lynn’s background in gastronomic tourism and Rachel’s training as a professional chef, we combine skill with heart. Our philosophy is rooted in inclusivity, quality, and flavour — because good food should be for everyone.
